We regularly receive questions from customers about whether we can transfer old emails, often from 10 years or more ago, to the new Microsoft webmail version. This is often certainly possible, although it can be a bit more difficult in some cases. This is especially true when it concerns email accounts that used a POP3 protocol in the distant past. A POP3 protocol retrieves all email to 1 device, while the IMAP protocol synchronizes with your email provider, so that you can, for example, view your email on your computer and on your phone. We can handle various types of (older) email clients (apps), that is no problem at all. Whether it is a very old Microsoft Outlook client, Outlook Express, Apple Mail, Pegasus, Thunderbird, Eudora or Netscape Mail App, in most cases we can convert this to a more modern environment. It will not always be possible to transfer all Tasks, Contacts and/or older Calendar appointments, for example, but we will always try. No Cure, No Pay is your guarantee here.

Our approach is, as usual, simple and straightforward. If there is no result, there is no need to pay.
We will visit you at home or business and briefly discuss what exactly you want to do. It is helpful if you have your login and password information at hand. We'll assess exactly what needs to be imported and can set it up on-site. After an initial test, we can quickly see if it works and estimate how long the process will take. You can expect approximately 5 GB of synchronization data every 12 or 24 hours, depending on your internet provider and the number of folders and files that need to be transferred. We'll then schedule an appointment a few days later to check the data and finish the migration process. Naturally, we'll also advise you on how to handle your old files or laptop in the most environmentally responsible way. For our small business clients, we can provide a quote for five email addresses or more if desired. Here too, various options are available. Whether it's a Lotus Notes email migration to Office 365, or if you're looking to start working in the cloud and need to retrieve older archives and email from your computers, it's all possible. We would be happy to have a cup of coffee with you to discuss the options, lead times and planning.
